Fun Layout

I went to a crop a few weeks ago I was able to sit down and work on some Layouts, with three kids and homeschooling life gets a little busy but I enjoy creating. I have started only doing 8 1/2 by 11 layouts I like the size and sometimes I only have one photo. Ali Edwards scraps most of the time in this size and I think for the everyday memories its a great size. I know a lot if Faith bookers and its a great size for that as well you can put a photo and what God is speaking to you about this photo.

All Day Crop Here I come!

Ok I will be heading over to the Creative memories Crop this weekend. I am so happy to be stepping aways from the kids, house and homeschooling can't wait. Be sure to check in next week to check out the stuff that I got the chance to put together.
Have a great weekend and God Bless.

Great Scrapbooking idea #1 Find time for you, look through all your things get rid of things or give away some stuff you know you are not going to use. Trust me even if you think you are the most put together scrapbooker or Crafter trust me it helps. You may look around and think WOW! I didn't even know I owned that, it may also inspire you to create just like when you buy something new.

Ok I also had to add some photo of something because I hate when people post and there is nothing to see lol.

Here is a Card that was inspired by a card that Arlene from My Butterfly kisses made.E
check out her video for the instructions.

Beach Layout!

Here is a fun Layout of my second son hanging
out at the beach. He's not a big fan of sand and salty water.
Watching him at the beach reminds me of watching myself or someone else handling something that maybe God had told us to do.
Sometimes doing what God wants makes us get in deep or get ourselves dirty, it not something we find ourselves wanting to do. You can search through the Bible and read so much about following God's will and you can hear God speak to you, now the hard part comes when its time to put those things into practice. This layout shows Gavin April of 2011.
A few weeks ago we went to the beach and he just jumped right into digging and playing he trusted what he had learned from the trip before and this time he had a great time.
product line used was from October afternoon

Loved by Faith Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Loved by God Faith Blog Hop!  We are so blessed to have you be a part of it.  If you arrived from Kari’s blog you are in the right place. If you just happened to have landed here, go on over to www.mypapertreehouse.blogspot.com so that you can catch the beginning of the hop.
I have noticed that since we were pretty much created we have an innate need to be loved and desired.  There is such a longing in our souls to be called beautiful, adorable, precious, accepted, and loved; and many times we find ourselves living lives of beggars, accepting the pennies people are willing to give.  To be loved by man is temporal and it will always leave you thirsty for more.  To be loved by God is to find satisfaction and to never thirst again.
This month we want to share with you what it has meant for us to have been “Loved by God”.  Every Brave and Precious woman participating in this hop has a beautiful story of how God has shown His love to them in a very personal way.

We invite you to hop around and discover the AMAZING ways the Lord chooses to love us, even when we do not deserve it.
The Bible says that there is no greater love than that from one who dies for his friend…  and God loves you so much that He sent His only Son to die for you.  Take a minute and listen to this song:

Our prayer is that the Lord would open your eyes so that you too can see how God has loved you.
Here is how He has chosen to show me His love:

For those who have kids we love them so much. We take photos and write down all the wonderful things they do. I feel we cannot understand how much Christ loves us but we can understand the love we have for our loved ones. When you think of Christ love, think about someone you love and think how much more Christ loves you as his child. He has his arms around you asking you to believe like a child believes and to trust that he is there for us.

We are doing things a bit different this month.  We actually want to have you be a participant with us.  If you feel inspired create a project that reflects what the Lord has shown you, write a poem, or simply post about the Love of God in your blog.  Then go over to www.mypapertreehouse.blogspot.com to link up your post.  We would love to see how the Lord works through you.
For this month alone, there will be no greater gift we can offer you than the love the Lord has awaiting you, so there will be no Grand Prizes.  Still you can be blessed by the beautiful RAKS some of the participants have available.
Know that we are praying for you and sure hope to see your creations! Your next stop is:

Faith Booking Crop

Hey Guys! We had a great time at the Faith booking crop that Nana from My paper tree house had today. Games, layouts and gifts but we also had an amazing time in the Word and worshiping the Lord. Here is one of the projects I did while at the crop. We talked about things that were keeping us from God we also made a little mini book to write down what is holding us back but I'll share more about that when I show the mini book.
Have a great weekend and God Bless
