Faith Blog Hop!

Every month a group of bold women gathers to make the Name of the Lord famous and to share the talents we have been given by Him.  We also like to share a little bit of Truth that we have learned from the Bible and/or a bit about how He has impacted our lives.  This month the theme is 
“The Fruit of the Spirit”.
As Christians we are expected to demonstrate the Fruit of the Spirit because the Spirit of God abides in us.  In Galatians 5:22-23 we find the following definition: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”  There are many misconceptions about this fruit.  People look at the list of attributes and they are convinced that God has not given them one of the “fruits”, and so they live with remaining sin and a sense of defeat in certain areas of their lives.
If you look at the passage again you will notice that the word FRUIT is NOT plural.  It is only ONE fruit, so if the Spirit of the Lord abides in you, then the attributes that characterize the Spirit live there as well.  If you are not experiencing one of the characteristic of His Spirit in your life, pray that the Lord would cleanse you and purify you.  He is into the business of completing those He saves.  My prayer is that you would draw near to the Lord and that He in turn will draw near to you…

Sneak Peek! Faith Blog Hop!

Hey Everyone! 

 Here is a little sneak peek of the project for The Faith Blog Hop next weekend. I will be giving my project as the little gift for leaving a comment on my blog this weekend during the Hop! and I will also be adding a little some something extra. See you all then.

Ok! so I am not a mini book girl, I know I have posted some but I cannot seem to think how to store them. This whole project was made with paper the book cover also, ribbon and a Tim Holtz little thing was also used.

I saw someone on youtube and was inspired to make this little book. I can't seem to find the video and I can't remember who I watched that did this project. (If anyone knows please let me know or post a link in the comments) I am not into using peoples work unless people know I was inspired by them. I enjoyed making this so much its still in the works but I had to show it. Try making your own its so much fun, I am working on a 6x12 one can't wait to have it done to show you all.

P.S. this is a little gift I am making for my Grandmother and the little pocket is so she can add more photos.

A New Day

This is the first mini I made for my son check it out and if you have a blog post a link to your first mini so we can all see.

Since I made this before distress inks I did ink it with some ink but now that I have that stuff 3 years later I inked it with distress inks

 This is one of the first layouts I ever did, I love using paint and stuff to add a little extra. I am also so happy I have pictures of this and that I put this LO together. Now JM is 4 and I can look back at him as a baby and remember him as a baby. Make sure to not just take pictures of your kids faces but take pictures of them doing things they liked to do because they grow so fast.
