LONG TIME!!!!

So I have been MIA, In the past year I got pregnant with baby number four and did not have the greatest pregnancy. I ended up on bed rest with three little boys running around the house, yes I was going crazy. We finally had our beautiful little girl Sophia in Feb. Unknown to us our beautiful little girl was born with PKU short for Phenylketonuria. Yes we were in shock at first and we have been through the first few months and she is doing well. Her genetic disorder requires her to be on a special diet that she will be on for life, her diet is a low or no protein diet. Most people think no big deal but if you really sit and think about all the things in our diet that have protein its a lot of things. With weekly hospital visits and making special formula mixed with pumped breast milk it has been my biggest job ever. Thanks to God for patients through this hard time and we are so blessed to have Baby Sophia.

Soon I will be scrapping my little angel can't wait, I have put all my scrapbooking items in order and I am ready to get started.

12 month mini

This is a little 3by4 inch mini book that I am working on for my third son, it is an accordion mini I'm sure you could search in Youtube and you could find a video on this I learned there. It is such a cute way of making a little mini for a non scrapbooker. I have given it as a book that someone could put 12 months of pictures in one for every month if done right.  

Scrapbooking Block

So I have scrapbooking block lol I'm sure we all have these days. I'm looking forward to national scrapbook day, I'm hopping that I'm able to get in the grove of things. I have so many ideas running through my head and I keep taking pictures of our life and I will create again soon. lol! I have the mess already, I started a big project a book of our trip to italy the fist time. I am using a pattern for the book I bought from Kathy Orta's website go over to her site she has great projects and classes it amazing her mind creates these great projects.

Spring handmade paper flower card

Here is a card that I made from some K&Company Journey line scraps I had. love this paper its so hard for me to cut and use the paper I love. I just wanted to make something vintage spring and I hope you enjoy. Check back soon like I said in my video I'm back I may be out of the scrapbooking circle as far as whats new and hip but I want to use everything that I have up. Update on my friend with memory loss

For those of you who saw my post last month my friend had lost 20 years of memory. Well a month later she still has not regained her memory but has allowed her hubby who she does not remember bring her home and she has started loving her three children that she does not remember all over again. Along with losing the memory of her family and us her friends, she also lost 20 years of life style memory. She had no idea what a cell phone is, she wanted to know what had happend to her pager. She is now learning how to live like the jettisons she says. One amazing merical in all this is that her love for the Lord has remained strong and she has held on to this. As a scrapbooker and memory keeper we sometimes think will anyone enjoy all this hard work of keeping notes and photos of our lives? well let me tell you my friend kept Jernals and because of these Jernals she has been able to not recall her memory yet but confirm the things her family and friends say and confirm that God has gided her life and that even her own hubby was an answer to her prayers. Please remember to pray for her, her family and for us her friends we love our new friend but we miss our old friend so much.

Hey follower I know I have been MIA but I will get my act together soon I've had holidays and Birthdays I also was very sick and on top of being sick the meds almost killed me but now with God's help I am well.
I'm posting today because I'm asking you to pray for my friend who was found passed out in her home yesterday when she woke she had lost 20 years of memories we are hoping today she wakes and knows who her family and friends are. As people who love to keep our memories I can't even think of what that would be like.

First B-day Layout

This week one one of my little boys B-days and this is a fun layout of his First B-day 

Once again I am using some October Afternoon paper and some Unity stamps the banner is hand cut and letters cut out with my Cricut Fun Stuff.

Fun Layout

I went to a crop a few weeks ago I was able to sit down and work on some Layouts, with three kids and homeschooling life gets a little busy but I enjoy creating. I have started only doing 8 1/2 by 11 layouts I like the size and sometimes I only have one photo. Ali Edwards scraps most of the time in this size and I think for the everyday memories its a great size. I know a lot if Faith bookers and its a great size for that as well you can put a photo and what God is speaking to you about this photo.

Here are some cards I made from some Basic Gray paper and craft paper. I love giving cards but these cards are going to be a gift.

Great Scrapbooking idea #1 Find time for you, look through all your things get rid of things or give away some stuff you know you are not going to use. Trust me even if you think you are the most put together scrapbooker or Crafter trust me it helps. You may look around and think WOW! I didn't even know I owned that, it may also inspire you to create just like when you buy something new.

A Little memory keeping book

I know I was MIA for the past few weeks, things have been crazy here in our house Homeschooling and everything that comes along with having three little ones running around. This is a book I made using an envelope style Mini book. I made each page into an envelope with 12x12 paper the paper in an older line from Me and My Big Idea. Beach Layout!

Here is a fun Layout of my second son hanging 

out at the beach. He's not a big fan of sand and salty water.

 Watching him at the beach reminds me of watching myself or someone else handling something that maybe God had told us to do.

 Sometimes doing what God wants makes us get in deep or get ourselves dirty, it not something we find ourselves wanting to do. You can search through the Bible and read so much about following God's will and you can hear God speak to you, now the hard part comes when its time to put those things into practice. This layout shows Gavin April of 2011. 

A few weeks ago we went to the beach and he just jumped right into digging and playing he trusted what he had learned from the trip before and this time he had a great time.

 For those who have kids we love them so much. We take photos and write down all the wonderful things they do. I feel we cannot understand how much Christ loves us but we can understand the love we have for our loved ones. When you think of Christ love, think about someone you love and think how much more Christ loves you as his child. He has his arms around you asking you to believe like a child believes and to trust that he is there for us.

Faith Booking Crop

Hey Guys! We had a great time at the Faith booking crop that Nana from My paper tree house had today. Games, layouts and gifts but we also had an amazing time in the Word and worshiping the Lord. Here is one of the projects I did while at the crop. We talked about things that were keeping us from God we also made a little mini book to write down what is holding us back but I'll share more about that when I show the mini book.
